HI, I am Shannon Sawyer the artist and owner of Serenity Inspirational Acrylics. I have been drawing my whole life but only in the last 3 years did I begin to paint and really put my love and passion behind it. I found that painting is a wonderful way to stay calm and mentally healthy. I can place all my emotions into each piece, share my feelings without having to verbally express them.
My hopes with Lyric is that I can reach a wider audience and create a community that loves art as much as I do. I have a variety of themes and styles that I paint, however my love is in realism. African landscapes, portraits of African women and wildlife, Country life landscapes, Birds, and Spirtual themed pieces.
